AW,

First of all, you called me twice on Friday, Sep 5th – 8:48 am & 8:51 am. Then you called me at 7:02 pm the same day. I didn’t respond within 17 hours and can hardly be considered as ‘non-responsive.’ 

Second, my brother and I just lost our mother, and I am doing the best I can to organize and ensure that everything is legally sound to properly provide for Daniel as per my mother’s wishes. 

Third, I am reaching out to a local attorney to determine next steps and hopefully will be able to get a consultation next week. I appreciate your patience while I grieve the loss of my mother and honor Rose’s last wishes to ensure Daniel’s care.

I was not looking for a long winded reply.  All I need is “I’ll get back to you” or “I’m busy right now.  I’ll get back to you soon”.  That’s what I need to know that We made contact.  It does not take 17 hours to type those few words.  I realized that you just lost your mother and I do not want to make light of it.  Effective immediately I’m removing myself from the equation.  I already told you everything Daisy asked me to convey to you.  There is nothing more I need to get involved in. You can call her directly and visa versa.  Sorry for your loss.  Hope things work out with your brother.
